Does Josh Rock Play in the Premier League or for Rangers? Career Clarification
The short answer is no. Josh Rock is a professional darts player and has never played association football. The confusion arises from the terminology of his actual sport and his personal interests.
Premier League Darts vs Association Football
Rock made his debut in the 2026 Premier League Darts, a competition within the PDC circuit. This is distinct from the English Premier League in football. His most notable Premier League Darts moment came at the SSE Arena in Belfast on 26 February 2026, where he produced a nine-dart finish against Gian van Veen after trailing 5–1.
The Rangers FC Connection
Rock is a supporter of Rangers FC, but this is a fan relationship, not a professional one. He also supports Manchester United and Ballymena United. He attended school with Northern Irish footballer Ross McCausland, which helps explain the specific search interest linking Rock to the Glasgow club. His current ranking is supported by Flashscore.
Queries linking Josh Rock to the Premier League or Rangers FC likely stem from confusion between the PDC Premier League Darts and association football, or between the darts player and another athlete. Josh Rock is exclusively a professional darts player for the PDC.
